William (Bill) Gerald Duvall Jr, 60, of Batesville, was called home to be with The Lord on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1960, in Conway, AR to the late William Duvall Sr. and Avis (Anderson) Amann.

Bill was a man of Christian faith and with that, he loved to read the Bible and share The Word of God with others. His strong faith was evident in the way he lived and treated others. Bill enjoyed being on any lake with a fishing pole in his hand and boating with his family. He also enjoyed working on and rebuilding computers and reading to constantly expand his knowledge. Bill never passed up the opportunity to go hunting or enjoy a fine cigar; grill for his family and friends, or enjoy some time on a four-wheeler. But what he loved most of all was his family. Bill was an incredible father to Kristin, from patiently helping with homework, practicing for basketball games, or bringing turtles home from a day on the road with FedEx and helping build an outside home for them to live.

In 2016 Bill met the love of his life, Monica. From day one he said she was a Godsend and he was right. Monica gave him the love he deserved and he gave the same love in return. It was evident to everyone that was around them, they were made for each other. He and his loving wife, Monica, attended The Sanctuary Church in Mountain View, AR.  In November of 2018, Bill and Monica welcomed their son, Ethan, and Bill once again showed what an incredible father he was. Bill was a loving Grandfather as well and he showed so much pride and love for them.

Bill is reunited in Heaven with his father, William Duvall Sr, his stepmother Dorothy Duvall, and his brother Mike Duvall.

He is survived by his wife Monica Duvall and son Ethan Duvall;  mother Avis Amann; brother Jon Duvall; his daughter Kristin Duvall & Justin Sims; two grandchildren Hope Sims and Hudson Sims, and several very close and supportive friends that loved him dearly.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at Willis Funeral Service Chapel. There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 2 p.m.
