A Southside woman reported to authorities late last week that her stepson is missing.

Alicia Brister told the Independence County Sheriff’s Department that her stepson Keith Addison (pictured above), 35, came to her home a few weeks ago from Illinois to stay with her for a while.

Brister reported that around 11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, everyone at her home went to bed, and Addison went to sleep on the couch. Brister said when everyone awoke on Friday, Oct. 1, Addison was gone, and the family has not been able to locate him.

Addison is described as standing 6 feet and weighing 200 pounds with short brown hair. Also missing from the home was a small backpack and Addison’s wallet.

Deputy Carey Thomas issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) to surrounding counties, and Addison was registered with the Arkansas Crime Information Center.
