Obituary: Jason Wayne Duncan

Jason Wayne Duncan, 43, passed away on Oct. 1, 2021.

He was born on April 11, 1978, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR. Jason was of the Pentecostal faith and a lifelong member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church and later became a member of the Cave Creek Church of God. His relationship with Christ was the most important thing to him. He loved to witness to others by preaching the Gospel and praying for everybody.

Jason spread unconditional love and happiness to everyone he crossed paths with. He loved singing, studying his Bible, Christmas, and Santa Clause, wrestling, playing the air guitar, and listening to the Gaither Vocal Band. The memory of his big heart and positivity will forever be cherished by those that love him.

Jason is survived by his mother, Penny Howard Martin; grandparents, Donald and Gail Howard; uncle, Tim and his wife Laura Howard; aunt, Melanie and her husband Kevin Creighton; cousins, John Howard, Lauren Creighton, and Lindsey Creighton; as well as a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Tom and Bobby Howard, and Bob and Ovella Marlin; great aunt, Winell Gibson; great uncles, Wayne Gibson and Jake Weaver; as well as two great cousins, John Weaver and Brent Gibson.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. in our chapel with Shawn and Laurie Barnes officiating. We will interment for burial at Roselawn Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tim Howard, John Howard, Ron Howard, Seth Salter, Donnie Creighton, and Kevin Creighton. The honorary pallbearer includes Dr. J.R. Baker.
