Obituary: Delton Leroy Rolins

Delton Leroy Rolins, 88, passed away on Oct. 9, 2021.

He was born on Jan. 13, 1933, in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Virgil and Beatrice (Evans) Rolins. Delton was a musician and a comedian. He loved to squirrel hunt, cut wood, and mow. Delton built many houses over the years.

He was married to his wife Imolene for 64 years. Above all else, he loved dinners with his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

 

He is survived by his son, Marty Rolins (Donna); grandchildren, David Rolins (Lisa), Carrie Renfrow (Brandon), Lindsey Rolins, Stephen Rolins (Savannah), and Jeremy Cartmill; great-grandchildren, Zackary Rolins, Jonathan Hunter (Brooke), Sadie Dildine (Hunter), Kaitlyn Renfrow, Tristan Lee, Kiersten Morrison (Brian), Cason Rolins, Cameron Rolins, Clara Rolins, Hanlee Cartmill, Reighna Cartmill, and Nala Cartmill; five great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dallas Rolins (Donna Jean) and Jim Rolins (Maggie).

Delton is preceded in death by his loving wife, Imolene Rolins; his parents; son, Bud Rolins, daughter, Phyllis Rolins; grandson, Cameron Reeves; great-grandson, Dillon Rolins; brothers, Coy Rolins, Richard (Nig) Rolins, Joe Mannon Rolins, and John Edward Rolins; and sister, Barbara Sellers.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Stephen Rolins, Jonathan Hunter, David Rolins, Brandon Renfrow, Zachary Rolins, and Jeremy Cartmill. Those serving as honorary pallbearers are Tom Sellars, Cameron Reeves, Dillon Rolins, Rocky Sutton, Jim Dick Johnson, Dale Pruitt, Daniel Hubbs, Lee Cartmill, Warren Wade, Dallas, and Jim Rolins, Dallas Wayne Rolins, and Matt and Josh Sellars.
