Sean Martin, 50, passed away on Oct. 15, 2021. He was born on Dec. 10, 1970, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to McFarland Martin and Leoma (Smithers) Martin.

No words can truly measure the man that Sean Martin was. He was one of a kind. To those who did not know him, he may have seemed to have a tough exterior. But to those who were lucky enough to call him friend, they knew that the tough exterior covered up a soft heart. He was caring, kind, loyal, and fiercely protective of his loved ones. Sean was a hardworking man and was proud of the fifteen years he worked for Bad Boy Mowers. When he was not working, he would watch the Razorback football team or go fishing and hunting. But the team he loved to watch the most was the one his son Tristan (#52) played for, the Batesville Junior High Football team. Sean was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, and all-around wonderful person. He will be missed by many people, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Jessica (Dew) Martin; his parents, McFarland and Leoma Martin; son, Tristan Martin; daughters, Brittany Smith (Scott), Breanna Martin, and Cheyenne Martin; brother, Stephen Martin (Dely); sister, Tina Martin; grandchildren, Rikki Smith, Gabriel Smith, Alexander Smith, Allie Hugg, a grandchild on the way; brothers in law, Justin Dew (Michelle) and Levi Harris (Cindy), and many nieces and nephews that he loved. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Albert Martin; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Dew Harris.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Raymond Hendrix, will follow the visitation at 5 p.m.
