First Community Bank has promoted Craig Amos to senior vice president, compliance, and bank secrecy act (BSA) officer.

“I am honored to have been named senior vice president, compliance, and BSA officer,” said Amos (pictured above). “I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities in my continued commitment to First Community Bank.”

Amos earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lyon College. He joined First Community Bank in 2009. He is a graduate of the Barret School of Banking in Memphis and received the certified regulatory compliance manager (CRCM) designation in 2014 from the American Bankers Association. Amos oversees the compliance department and continues to assist the bank in adhering to regulatory laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

“Craig’s expertise and experience play a critical role in the bank’s success,” said Dwight Ford, executive vice president, chief credit officer of First Community Bank. “He has proven himself to be a capable and committed professional leader in not only the compliance division of the bank, but the community as well.”
