Obituary: Jack Coleman Galloway

Jack Coleman Galloway, 72, of Grubbs departed this life on November 11, 2021.  He was born on August 15, 1949, to Johnny Carl Galloway and May (Sampson) Galloway.

Jack loved to work at the Grubbs store.  He enjoyed picking up pecans and could be found doing so every fall.  He enjoyed his ice cream and ate it as often as possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Carol Galloway.

He is survived by his brother, Lee Galloway (JoAnn) of Reno, Nevada; his sisters, Vivian Ciesielski of Batesville and Peggy Galloway of Batesville; nieces, Laura Draper of Batesville, Dava Eisenbeiss of Batesville, Leyett McCarty of Sacramento, California; nephew, Scott Galloway of Sacramento, California; great-nephew, Daniel Draper of Malvern; great-niece, Savanna Draper of Batesville; great-great-nieces and nephews, Ashten, Aaron, Cheryce, Logan; and a host of friends and the Grubbs community.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are David Williams, James Jones, Denny Brownfield, Henry Brownfield, Malcolm Hawkins, and Chad Sutherland.  The honorary pallbearer is Jackie Ivy.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00 at Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:30 at Dillinger Funeral Home.
