Sharp County authorities investigating deaths of two found at residence

Sharp County authorities are investigating the deaths of two individuals at a residence in the Cave City area on Saturday night as a homicide-suicide.

According to a release from Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts, dispatch received a 911 call regarding a possible domestic at a Grange Road residence around 9:25 p.m. The caller “advised a male and female are fighting and heard gunshots fired,” the release said.

The Sharp County Sheriff’s Department, the Cave City Police Department, and Spring River Ambulance responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, the release said officers found Kelsey Bunch, 32, deceased with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Also found deceased with an apparent gunshot wound to the head was Jonathan Bunch, 34, the sheriff said in the release.

Both subjects will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy and to determine the cause and manner of death.
