A landmark weekend is ahead for singer/songwriter (and Batesville High School grad) Matt Dame. Dame is scheduled to debut on the Grand Ole Opry this weekend.
Dame will perform Saturday, Nov. 27, in his new role as vocalist/guitarist for the Grammy Award-winning band, The Steeldrivers. A veteran of the Nashville music world, Dame joined the band — whose past members have included Chris Stapleton and Gary Nichols — in July of this year.
White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker spoke with Dame Tuesday on WRN radio stations Outlaw 106.5/AM 1130 and Arkansas 103.3.
