Harry A. Carstensen “Bud”, 92 of Batesville passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was born September 9, 1929, in Davenport, Iowa to Herman and Caroline Carstensen. Bud was a crane operator and truck driver and enjoyed being around his friends at the morning coffee table.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twelve siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Abel and Donna (Paul) Cox both of Davenport, Iowa; two sisters; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a lifetime of friends.
A special thank you to his caregiver, Mary Jo Parker. MJ would like to invite his Batesville friends to enjoy coffee and German Chocolate cake at an impromptu memorial at The Spah in Southside on Monday, December 6, 2021, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on December 2, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa.
