The Batesville School District is celebrating a student who recently claimed the junior world title in duck calling.
Hayes Kibe was the winner of the Junior World’s Duck Calling Championship at the 86th annual World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest held during the week of Nov. 20 at the Wings Over the Prairie Festival in Stuttgart, Ark.
The World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest is the marquee event at the annual festival.
Kibe is a student at Batesville Junior High School Charter.
