Lashawnda Lee (Peal) Eckard of Sage, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the age of 44. She was born March 7, 1977, in Little Rock, the daughter of Thomas Peal and Lisa (Wilson).
She was a graduate of Levy High School and earned her RN Degree from Ozarka College. She was an RN at Easy K Ranch, and enjoyed attending concerts and traveling. Her family was her greatest joy. Lashawnda loved spending time with them, and especially enjoyed their beach trips.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Lesa (Wilson) Campbell and Paul Campbell.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Eckard of the home; her father, Thomas Peal of Melbourne; one son, Jared Stringer and wife, Alaina of Melbourne; one daughter, Trinity Haven Biddle and fiancé, Brandon Alexander, of Sage; one step-son, Adam Eckard and wife, Nicole of Jonesboro; one step-daughter, Hannah Cunningham and husband, Arnold, of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, David Karter Alexander and Malik Liam Eckard; and a lifetime of friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Jackson’s Newark Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Blue Springs Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 12:30 until service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Brandon Alexander, Marc Stringer, Tony Walker, Luke Franks, Shane Rogers, and Heath Wilson.
