Shawana Ann Paige passed away on February 16th at the age of 49. She was an outgoing woman who was very resolute in her faith and beliefs. Shawana was known as a caring woman who never turned away a kid in the community. Everybody in the community affectionately knew her as “Big Momma”. She loved watching soap operas and crime shows, crocheting, old-school RnB and spending time with her family.
She was born October 17, 1972, in Batesville, AR, to the late Lee Andrew Paige and Barbara Ann Milon. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Reginald Paige, and Richard Allen Millon; and her sisters, Gladys Paige, Beverly Montgomery, Sandra Paige, and Alice Marie Paige.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela Marie Paige (Damion Clemons) and Bianca Paige (Willie Tate); her brothers, Tony Paige, Byron Lynn Paige, and Cornelius Paige; her sisters Flesia Paige, Cynthia Paige, and Patricia Peterson; four grandchildren, Kamara Paige, Kayla Taggart, Kamari Clemons, and Kaydra Clemons; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5 PM until 7 PM and funeral service, officiated by Pastor LA Bland, will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2 PM. Both services will be at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Interment will follow at Ruddle Hill Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyrone Paige, Jonathen Paige, Willie Tate, Damion Clemons, Tyrone Baker, Cornelius Paige, and Christian Jones.
