The swimming season concluded with some hardware for the Batesville High School Charter Aquaneers.
The boys collected their third consecutive 5A conference title and earned their second 5A state title in three years. History was also being made on the boys’ side as they broke three state records the championship
The girls finished runner-up in the 5A East District and placed seventh in the 5A State with several earning medals.
“I can’t believe the season is already over,” said Coach Khaung Nguyen. “What a fun and memorable year it was for the Aquaneers. The hard work, dedication, and countless hours in the pool had paid off for these athletes. This year’s group was led by some amazing seniors on both sides. These seniors showed what it took to finish on top. Thank you, seniors, for being the leaders you are and representing your school, community, and family. Good luck to all of the seniors in their future endeavors, and I can’t wait to watch some of those continuing their swimming/diving career at the next level.”
