Loretta Jeanne Grammer was born on June 9th, 1952 in Missouri to Joseph and Bessie Carnaghi.  She was raised in their home with three brothers and two sisters until she met and married her late husband, Charles (Bo) Grammer.

Charles and Loretta made a home in Round Lake Beach Illinois where they raised five children together.  Her family and faith were the most important things in her life.  Aside from her love for her family and the Lord, Loretta had a love for many things.

She adored Elvis, holding quite the collection of his memorabilia.  She also loved Christmas and cherished decorating her home during the season.  She loved to spend time outside the house every spring planting flowers she and her family could enjoy all summer.  She loved to appreciate nature from afar, long drives in the fall looking at the changing leaves, calling it “one of God’s miracles”.

She was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Chrystal and Carrie Grammer, her husband, Charles Grammer, her sister Beverly Cashion and two brothers, Robert and Joseph Carnaghi.

She is survived by her brother, James Carnaghi and sister, Renee Willuweit; her children and their spouses, Charles Grammer Jr, Christopher and his wife Edie, Consetta and her husband Russ, Chaun and his wife Sarah, and Candace and her husband John.  Between them, they blessed her with 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12 at Pleasant Plains First Assembly of God from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove.
