Lyon College men’s golf finishes fifth in Missouri invitational

FULTON, Missouri – The Lyon College Scots Men’s golf team finished fifth out of 12 teams at the two-day William Woods Spring Invite at Tanglewood Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Scots combined to shoot a 304 and added with Monday’s score of 302, equaled 606, which was tied with Columbia College for fifth place.

Luke Jackson led Lyon College with a one-over 73 on Tuesday. Jackson finished in a tie for eighth place and finished with a two-day total of 148.

Scott Schmidt shot a three-over 75 and finished with a 150 total, William Bolles shot a 78 in the second round to finish with a two-day total of 154, Nick Beausoleil shot a 79 for a 155 total, Cameron Curtis shot a 78 for a 156 total and Brody Jeanes shot a 77 for a 157.

In women’s individual action for Lyon College, Sydney Czanstkowski shot five-strokes better in round two, finishing with an 80 for a two-day total of 165
Madison Robb shot a 104 for a total of 211.
