(Cherokee Village, AR)— White River Health System has announced the addition of Surinder Sra (pictured above, right), MD, internal medicine specialist, and Christina Cooper (left), APRN, to the White River Health System (WRHS) team.
They are now accepting new patients and will continue seeing patients at their current location at Internal Medicine Diagnostics, located in the WRMC Medical Complex in Cherokee Village.
Dr. Surinder Sra has proudly served the patients in the Sharp County area for 26 years.
He completed residencies from Punjabi University and the University of Tennessee. He is board certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.
Christina Cooper has 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). She has experience in a variety of areas including the emergency department and the cardiac stepdown unit. She has held a PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) certification, a specialty certification for nurses who provide direct care to acutely ill adult patients regardless of their physical location, for three years. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. While she is board-certified in family medicine, she has a special interest in women’s health.
Internal Medicine Diagnostics is located at 197 Hospital Drive in Cherokee Village. It is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. The clinic is accepting new patients.
