Patricia Ann Mathis, 62, of Newport departed this life on April 10, 2022. She was born July 11, 1959, to Marion and Edna (Moss) Honey.
Patricia was of the Church of Christ belief. She enjoyed being outdoors and could often be found swimming, walking or working in her flower beds. The one thing she loved above everything else was playing with her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her friend Debbie Williams.
She is survived by her husband Ricky Mathis of the home, her son Ricky Mathis II (Jamie) of Newport; her daughter, Sarah Mathis (Jake Winningham) of Newport; her brother, Marion Honey of McCrory; her grandchildren, Seth Billings, Brianna Winningham, Zoey Winningham, Jordan Prine, Madison Prine; great-grandchild, Kaysen Roddy; friends, Libby McGee, Kianna Fite and many others.
