Neal Sipe, 92 of Mt. Pleasant passed May 9, 2022, in Melbourne. She was born November 14, 1929, at Cushman to Morris and Timpie Glenn Johnson. She was a homemaker and farmer; she was of the Pentecostal faith. Neal was the last living lady to drive a pair of mules in Izard County. She loved quilting, reading her Bible, and raising chickens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Amos Sipe, and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Bill Sipe of Mt. Pleasant; her sister, Robbie Billings of Arizona; one grandchild, Wes Sipe; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Sipe, Sam Sipe, and Mary Sipe; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with John High officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery at Mt. Pleasant. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Wes Sipe, Ronnie Caraway, Jack Helms, Gilbert McCracken, and Paul Massey.
