The public can learn more about a literal “Who’s Who” of Batesville businesses next month, and all in one location.

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) will hold its annual Business Expo presented by FNBC on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in the gymnasium of the Batesville Community Center. The event is free and open to the public.

This year’s theme is “Who’s Who” and will celebrate the “best of” what the Batesville area businesses have to offer, the chamber said in a release on Monday.

“Our members have a lot to brag about, and we are excited to celebrate their reputations,” said Evie Clauss, BACC’s hospitality coordinator. “We are ready to see familiar faces and welcome several new vendors this year. We have been blown away by the response to this event.”

According to the release, vendors “…will engage with visitors, celebrate the superlatives that make their brand unique, and distribute promotional items, food samples, and beverages throughout the day. Visitors can increase their chances of winning door prizes and giveaways by visiting vendor booths.”

The Business Expo will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The business-to-business trade show, available to participating vendors, will occur from 10 to 11 a.m.

The Taste of the Chamber, featuring local cuisine served by chamber members, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Career Showcase, providing an opportunity for job seekers and businesses to find each other, will occur from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A kids’ zone will also feature a bounce house, crafts, and more.

“The expo continues to be a community tradition and the best way for our businesses to showcase products and services offered,” says Clauss. “This event was created to promote member services and products to the community. We are proud to make one of the region’s best and biggest trade shows even better in 2022.”

FNBC presents the expo with additional support from Bad Boy Mowers, the City of Batesville, Merchants & Planters Bank, Peco Foods, RAWK Imprinting, the UPS Store, Suddenlink Business, and the White River Health System.
