A 14-year-old Mountain Home girl who was reported missing over a month ago has been found in rural Marion County, and the man authorities tagged as a suspect in her disappearance is now behind bars.

According to Mountain Home radio station KTLO, law enforcement officers located Sara Gilpin, 14, around 8 p.m. Wednesday in rural Marion County.

Mountain Home Police Chief Eddie Griffin told the station Issac James Melder (pictured), 40, of rural Yellville has been arrested. On May 12, Gilpin was reported missing, and at that time, authorities said it was possible the girl was with Melder, the station said.

KTLO reports Melder is being held in Baxter County on charges of interference with custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Griffin said more details about the case will be released later.
