Main Street Batesville and the City of Batesville are presenting the series, described as Main Street Batesville as “hot music on summer nights,” which will be held at Maxfield Park.

The inaugural concert will feature two local talents and the Dan Conklin Band (pictured below) to open the series on Saturday. The opening act, Trevor Graddy and Luke Middleton, will take the stage at 6 p.m.

Concessions will be available, and there will be a merchandise tent set up as well.

Attendees are asked to bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the three-hour concert.

“We are so excited that Bad Boy Mowers, Citizens Bank, and First Community Bank have partnered with Main Street Batesville to bring this special series to our downtown,” said Tipton Smart.

“The live music experience is best under a summer night sky, and we hope the community will come out to enjoy some great country music,” Tipton Smart said. “For some people, this might be the first time they’ve had an opportunity to hear live music again in more than two years, and we predict this Summer Concert Series will become an annual event.”

More information about the live shows will be available in the coming days on the mainstreetbatesville.org website, as well as on the Main Street Batesville Facebook page.
