Doyne Langston, 84, of Sage, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1938, in Guion, Arkansas to Robert J. Langston and Bertie Breeden Langston.
He was a member of the Sage Baptist Church and worked most of his life for Union Pacific Railroad where he retired. He enjoyed old cars, attending car shows, his cattle farm, going out to eat, watching sports on TV, but most of all attending church and being with his family.
He is survived by his companion and best friend, Sue Langston; a son, Tim Langston of Cave City; two daughters, Beth Pinkston and her husband, Gregg of Jonesboro and Kim Burns of Newark; eight grandchildren, Trevor Langston, Tim Langston, Tosha Langston, Levi Langston(Ashton), Seth Pinkston(Abbey), Noah Pinkston(Shelby), Zachary Crawford and Nathaniel Crawford; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; 6 sisters and a grandson, Sammy Pinkston.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sage Baptist Church with Doyne Robertson officiating.
Burial will be at Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.
Pallbearers are Bobby Cross, Levi Langston, Noah Pinkston, Seth Pinkston, Bobby Sheffield and Brad Slade. The honorary Pallbearer is Lance Smith.
