Stone County authorities are reporting a rash of vehicle break-ins.
According to a statement from the Stone County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, there have been multiple reports written for vehicle break-ins as well as for stolen vehicles.
The sheriff’s department said the incidents involved vehicles on Highway 5 South and that there have also been many reports of vehicle break-ins from the city of Mountain View.
Sheriff Lance Bonds and his department ask if anyone has information or video of any of the incidents to contact his department at (870) 269-3825.
The department also reminds everyone to lock and secure vehicles and to take keys out of them.
