Obituary: William Franklin Craft

William Franklin Craft, 89, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Southside. He was born March 15, 1933, in Maynard, AR., to William Luther and Anna Mae Greer Craft. He was a math teacher and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Batesville. William enjoyed spending time outdoors; fishing, camping and riding four-wheelers; he also was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cona Jean Craft; two brothers, Hewey Craft and Johnny Scott; two sisters, Mary Mills and Florence Lombardo.

Survivors include five sons, William Keith Craft (Vicki), Phillip Gregory Craft (Minnie), Jeffery Allan Craft, Joseph Patrick Craft (Becky) and Mark Edward Craft; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Travis Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery at Limedale.

The visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. till service time.

Pallbearers will be Blake Finnie, Joseph Craft, William Craft, Blake Craft, John Clements and Jerry Osburn.
