Obituary: Dallas Rolins

Dallas Rolins, 84, of Bethesda passed away on August 9, 2022, at Batesville. He was born October 16, 1937, at Burdette, Arkansas to Virgil and Beatrice Rolins. He was a retired maintenance foreman for Arkansas Lime, an avid horseman and of the Baptist faith. Dallas enjoyed going to the sale barn and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Joe Mannon Rolins, John Edward Rolins, Richard “Nig” Rolins, Delton Rolins and Coy Rolins; and one sister, Barbara Sellers.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Donna Jean Long Rolins of the home; one son, Dallas Wayne Rolins also of the home; one daughter, Ronda Wade (Doyle) of Bethesda; one brother, Jim Rolins (Maggie) of Bethesda; one granddaughter, Kayla Goodman (Blake); one great-granddaughter, Kamri Goodman; two bonus great-granddaughters, Addyson Goodman and Rilynn Goodman along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 12, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Campground Cemetery in Bethesda with Larry Sellers officiating.

Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service

Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until service time at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marty Rolins, Joe Rolins, Jason Rolins, Austin Rolins, Lee Rolins and Coy Rolins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Rolins and Thomas Sellers.
