First Community Bank has announced Anthony Pitts has been promoted to director of credit card services.

In a press release announcing the promotion, the bank said Pitts (pictured) possesses an extensive background of retail management experience, previously serving as credit card development coordinator upon joining the bank in 2020.

In his new role, he will oversee the daily activities for the financial institution’s credit card operation group, including product development and associated support functions.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have a leadership role with First Community Bank,” Pitts said. “We have an amazing team and are continuing to expand our credit card products and services to better serve our communities.”

Pitts and his wife, Jennifer, are lifelong residents of Batesville. Together they have two children: Emery, 18, an incoming freshman at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and Ellis ,16, a junior at Batesville High School.
