Margaret Kay (Vanhoozer) DeLong, 66, of Cabot, Arkansas departed this life Sunday, August 21, 2022, in the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born October 26, 1955, the daughter of Vollie and Dorothy (Davis) Vanhoozer.

Her parents both preceded her in death and three brothers: Corley, Wade, and James Vanhoozer. She was a homemaker, and a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Cabot. Kay served her country in the Army with her last assignment being with Medical Holding Company in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. She enjoyed writing poems, drawing, being with her pets, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kay is survived by one son, Matthew DeLong of Cabot, Arkansas, two sisters: Sandra Kirkland and Robin Hoke both of Jonesboro, and three grandchildren: Kaylie DeLong, Avalie DeLong, Hartlie DeLong.

Visitation will be Friday , August 26 at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 until Service Time.

The funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P. M. with Pastor Nathan Russell conducting the service.

The interment will be in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas. Mrs. Margaret Kay (Vanhoozer) DeLong was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend to many. A very special lady that will be greatly missed and everyone is welcome to come and say their goodbyes.
