
Polly Weaver Leonard, 82, of Batesville passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022.
She was born May 12, 1940, in Batesville, Arkansas to John (JD) Daniel Weaver, Jr. and Pauline Wyatt Weaver.
Polly was a member of First United Methodist Church and a part of Batesville High School’s graduating Class of 1958; she also worked for several years at Entergy as an Executive Assistant. She loved her family and cats; she also enjoyed reading and traveling with friends.
Survivors include her son, Dan Cullum of Batesville; daughter, Cindy Kallsnick (Scott) of Batesville; two sisters, Janie Prichard (Charles) of Benton and Johnie Dee Sellers of Pensacola, Florida; two grandchildren, Kyle Kallsnick (Jordan) and Kaylea Milum (Chris); three great-grandchildren, Olivia Milum, Luke Milum, and Konnor Kallsnick; three nephews, Chuck Prichard, Michael Prichard, and Derek Sellers; two nieces, Shana Olsen and Amber Collins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, JD and Pauline Weaver of Batesville; husband, John Leonard of Batesville; and her in-laws, Kermit and Raye Leonard of Jamestown.
A private family service was held to commemorate her life.
The family would like to share a special thanks to the staff of Legacy Hospice, White River Medical Center, and Approve Home Medical Services.
