Attendees enjoyed an evening of gambling for fun on Oct. 20 at the Ozarka College Foundation Casino Night event. The fall fundraiser was held at Cooper’s Pointe in Cherokee Village.

Guests enjoyed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres over the course of the evening prepared by Chow on the Square which is also located in Cherokee Village.

Casino games included bingo, blackjack, craps, let it ride, three-card poker, and roulette. Guests could earn chips to win prizes like one-of-a-kind pieces of art by local artists, limited edition luggage, gift certificates, and more items. Several items donated by local community members and businesses were also auctioned after the casino play and utilized in a raffle.

“The college is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from the Sharp County community,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College vice president of advancement. “This event is a testament to Sharp County’s commitment to uplifting those in their community through education.”
