
Jaunita “Tiny” Laverne Terrell, 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born in Cove, Arkansas, on May 15, 1933, to the late Raymond Ross and Carrill (Stewart) Ross.
Jaunita enjoyed shopping, gardening, and going to Bingo at the senior citizens center. She had a vast collection of cookbooks and spent much time reading them and trying out new recipes. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing very much. Jaunita also liked traveling, especially going on cruises. She was a longtime member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Jaunita was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend that will be missed by all those that loved her.
Jaunita is survived by her sons, Bobby Terrell and Mike Terrell (Kellie); daughters, Nancy Cossey and Carrill Konkler; grandchildren, Christy Painter (Steven), Bill Konkler (Lori), Andy Konkler (Candy), Jacob Terrell, Matt Terrell (Meredith), Andy Denham, Ashley Perez (Gary), Bethany Terrell, Teri Jean Terrell, and Allison Casady; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Terrell; son, Raymond J. Terrell; granddaughter, Catherine “Cat” Terrell; twin sister, Vaunita “Bonnie” Dickison; and brothers, Raymond William Ross and William Raymond Ross.
There will be a Visitation held at Willis Funeral Service on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 6 PM – 8 PM. The Graveside Service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2 PM at Campground Cemetery in Bethesda, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Bill Konkler, Andy Konkler, Jacob Terrell, Weston Konkler, Andy Denham, and A.J. Konkler, Honorary pallbearers are Dakotah Franks, Dalton Franks, Chris Konkler, and Matt Terrell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and CNAs at Woodlawn for taking such good care of our mom.
