A Stone County man is facing four drug-related felonies after authorities say he was allegedly involved in three controlled purchases involving confidential informants.

Jon David Lancaster, 48, has been charged with three felony counts of delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance and one felony count of maintaining a drug premise.

Lancaster’s arrest affidavit alleges authorities from the Stone County Sheriff’s Department and the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force initiated three controlled purchases of the drug, Suboxone, from the suspect earlier this year. Suboxone, a combination medication containing buprenorphine and naloxone, is classified as a Schedule III controlled substance in the United States, meaning it’s a drug deemed to have medical value yet also carries a moderate risk for addiction.

Lancaster is currently incarcerated at the Stone County Jail. His bond has been set at $20,000.
