Charles William McHugh, Jr., 78, of Calico Rock passed away Friday, April 14, 2023.
He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Charles William McHugh, Sr. and Elizabeth Kieferle McHugh.
Charles attended First Baptist Church of Calico Rock where he was involved with W.A.S.H., VBS, Children’s Church and Royal Family KIDS Camp. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for 33 years for Southwestern Bell/AT&T.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Peggy Teague McHugh of the home; a brother, Mark McHugh, and many friends including a special lifelong friend who was like a brother, Don Colston. He was an uncle (“Unc”) to four generations of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jeff McHugh.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Calico Rock First Baptist Church with Lee Floyd officiating. Arrangements were made by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
