The Melbourne School District will participate in a Community Mock Drill on Monday morning in order to earn the designation of a Heart Safe School.
The drill will involve a scenario created by a representative from Project Adam, which will initiate the school’s rapid response team.
The drill will begin promptly at 11 a.m., and the response team will respond as if this were a real emergency.
Police, EMS, and fire departments will also respond when prompted. It’s important to note that all departments are involved and know this is only a drill.
