
Jazzlin Nichol Childress, 8, of Batesville passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on December 17, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Adrain “Tank” and Cara (Long) Childress. She was a student at West Elementary School and attended the Weapons of a Warrior Ministry and Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Jazzlin enjoyed life and had a beautiful smile. She was a happy child and brought joy to anyone and everyone she met in life.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Jean Childress; and one aunt, Dorothy Mae Childress.
She is survived by her parents, Adrain “Tank” and Cara (Long) Childress of the home; two brothers, Adrain Childress Jr. and Arrain Childress of the home; one sister, Madison Childress of the home; her grandparents, Jimmie Childress, Carlin Long, Connie Nyitrai and Allan Nyitrai; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
