Obituary: Daniel Lee Ferren

Daniel Lee Ferren passed away on June 25th, 2023 at the young age of 66. Daniel was born to Wilton and Jewell Ferren on February 25th, 1957 in Mountain View, AR.

Daniel (Boone) worked as a mason for over 50 years, beginning his career under Tolly Kay Leonard. Throughout his career, he formed many friendships that remained throughout his life. Daniel married his High School sweetheart, Tammy (Sutton) Ferren, on September 3rd, 1977 and was her caregiver throughout her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Daniel also cared for his Mother, Jewell, until her journey home and has been a caregiver for his Sister, Gail, for the last few years.

Daniel was a loving Father to his two daughters, Pam & Katie. He spent a lot of time taking them both to numerous sporting events as well as teaching them to swim, fish and play baseball. He supported both girls as they married and started their own families, which gave him the greatest joy of his life, his 4 grandsons. Over the past 24 years, he enjoyed attending all their activities, including sports & school activities. As well as introducing them to his favorite sports team and interests, such as Star Wars and Golf and Andy Griffith.

Daniel is preceded in death by his Wife, Tammy Jean Ferren; Dad, Wilton Ray Ferren; Mom, Jewell Christine Ferren; Brother, Allen Ferren; Brother in law, Eudane Butler and Father in law, J.W. Sutton.

Daniel is survived by his daughters, Pam Webb and husband, Ryan Webb; Katie Brewer and husband, Jason Brewer; Grandsons, Payden and Bryce Webb, Evan and Eli Brewer.; Sister, Gail Butler; lifetime friends, Jay and Carla Mabry; Nieces and Nephews and many other friends and loved ones.

There will be a visitation and celebration of life held at the School Avenue Church of Christ on Thursday, June 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Family and friends are encouraged to share any memories of Daniel during this time.

Pallbearers will be Jay Mabry, Lance Bonds, Tom Everett, Keith Everett, Jimmy Nelson and Tim Jensen.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Webb, Jason Brewer, Payden Webb, Bryce Webb, Evan Brewer, Eli Brewer, Aaron Ferren and Keith Ferren.
