William Thomas Wood, Jr. of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born June 7, 1957, the son of William Thomas Wood, Sr.
Mr. Wood was a graduate of Swifton High School. He was an Airforce veteran and worked as an airplane mechanic for Falcon Jet. Mr. Wood was of the Baptist belief.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading. Mr. Wood liked to spend time capturing memories by taking photos of his sons and attending sporting events.
Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Wood, Sr., and his stepmother, Jacqueline Ruth (Rainwater) Wood; one half-brother, Robert Andrew Wood; and a special aunt, Barbara Wood.
He is survived by his three sons, Sjon Wood of Swifton, Cody Wood and wife, Tanya, of Swifton, and William Brycen Wood and wife, Danielle, of Swifton; two sisters, Kimberly (Wood) Tilley and husband, Justin, of Swifton, and Stacey Lynn Church of Swifton; four grandchildren, Sjon Lee Wood, Cash Wood, Beckham Wood, and Eva Wood; and several nieces and nephews.
