Betty Clevenstine,79, of Bradford passed from this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. She was born in Newport on February 1, 1944, to L.P. and Opal (Waldie) Jackson.
Betty was a member of Oakland Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting and was always creating unique handmade items. She enjoyed gardening and was always excited to see her garden come to life each spring. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Clevenstine; her brother, Edward Jackson; her son-in-law, Randy Steele; her sisters, Winnie Rose Burns, Billie Sue Williams, and Lois Lee Osborne; her niece, Joyce Jackson; and her nephews, Tom Burns and Danny Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorie Steele of Bradford; her son, Jason Clevenstine of Bradford; her brothers, David Jackson (Judy) of Russell and John Jackson of Texas; her grandchildren, Katrina Steele of Bradford, Josh Steele (Kelsie) of Bradford, Matt Steele of Bradford, and Logan Steele of Bradford; her great-granddaughter, Lilith Elmore of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 3:00 on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
