Family Violence Prevention (FVP) will hold its annual “Karaoke for a Cause” fundraiser tomorrow at The Loft at Main Street in Batesville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Billie Grady, executive director of FVP, and Kassie Meharg, board member of FVP, recently visited with Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ’s Wes Gwaltney about the fundraiser and about Family Violence Prevention. Listen to their conversation below.

The event will feature local singers performing their favorite karaoke hits. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at Econo-Mart Pharmacy, Fresh Start Resale Shop, or the FVP office at 192 Main Street in Batesville.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support FVP’s programs, which include a women’s and men’s shelter, a resale shop, and a rape crisis outreach center.

“We are so excited to bring the community together for an evening of music, fun, and fundraising,” said Billie Grady, executive director of FVP. “Your attendance and support will make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by domestic violence.”
