Richard Earl Lawrence, 62, of Mountain View passed December 4, 2023, at his home. He was born July 15, 1961, in Burbank, California to James Randolph Lawrence Sr. and Frieda Jean DeYoung Vogt.
Richard loved life! He was a firm believer in the fullness of the Gospel, a conservative, and a Trump supporter. He loved all things to do with railroads, especially narrow gage and steam engines. Richard was loyal to a fault, with a loveable Teddy Bear disposition and a unique sense of humor that would leave everyone he met with a chuckle.
He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife and eternal companion Amy (Smith) Lawrence, his brother James Randolph Lawrence Jr. (Ruth), beloved bonus Mom, Becky Lawrence, his 5 children John (Stephanie), Richard (Caitlyn), Christopher (Lethicia), Sarah, and Matthew, as well as 6 grandchildren John, Kathryn, Flynn, Luca, Alexis and Liam.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
Pallbearers are John Lawrence, Christopher Caravello, Matthew Lawrence, Craig Smith, Dan Smith, Henry Fedd.
