Wilson Thomas Ring, 76, of Sidney, Arkansas, formerly of Gid, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born August 29, 1947, in Cave City, Arkansas to Woodrow and Willie (Brashers) Ring. Wilson enjoyed fishing, camping, deer hunting, gardening, Easter egg hunts with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and helping Santa make his Naughty or Nice phone calls. He especially loved his family and family reunions.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Diane Ring; a brother, Roy Ring; a sister, Thelma Reeves and a son-in-law, Loren Trewyn.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ring of the home; one son, Randy Ring (Sandra) of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; his daughters, Lori King (Jim) of Judsonia, Arkansas and Kelly Trewyn of Sidney, Arkansas; his step children, Howard Reynolds of Violet Hill, Arkansas, Melody Chu of Wichita, Kansas and Pete Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Dustin Thornton, Michael Ring, Justin Trewyn and Crystal Brown; his step grandchildren, J.D. Reynolds, Le Ellen, Jamie Chu, Dakota Reynolds, Austin Reynolds, Fancy Reynolds, Noal Reynolds, Brodix Reynolds, Cheyenne Chreene, BreAnne Wooten, Hope Reynolds, Spencer Reynolds, Tad Reynolds and Cash Reynolds; twenty-one great grandchildren; his brothers, Troy Ring (Carla), James Ring (Yvonnia), Gail Ring (Gwen), Junior Ring (Joyce) and Thomas Ring; his sisters, Pat Platt (Mike), Anita Nast, Lena Mae Cohrs, Zelma Ring, Bonnie Hawkins and Georgie Flietner; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sidney Baptist Church with Jeff Eddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas.
