
Alice Faye (Caldwell) Parker Holt, of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born August 29, 1941, the daughter of Andy Caldwell and Nora Lee (Anderson) Webb.
Mrs. Holt was a homemaker and a very active member of the Cherokee Church of Christ. She loved Jesus and found joy in reading her Bible every day.
Mrs. Holt enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching the Hallmark channel. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mrs. Holt will be remembered for the kindness she showed to everyone as she never met a stranger.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by two sons, infant Perry Joseph Parker and Perry Lee Parker; two daughters, infant Debra Parker and Barbara Sue Parker Holt; her husband, Ralph “Sonny” Parker; three brothers, Edward Caldwell, David Webb, and Michael Webb; two sisters, Frances Caldwell and Elizabeth Newton; and her parents.
She is survived by six daughters, Mary Alice Raviseioni of Hot Springs, Fredda Mae Hendrix of Newport, Terri Lee Holt and husband, Charles, of Possum Grape, Jeannie Burns and husband, Greg, of Newport, Chrystal Gail Gilmore of Newport, and Julie Pauline Fern of Newport; one brother, Bobby Webb and wife, Sally, of Judsonia; three sisters, Connie Holt of Newport, Ann Seals of Jonesboro, and Katherine Phillips of Judsonia; twenty-one grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Jackson’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sandhill Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Holt, Charles Ray Holt, II, Reese Watkins, Jorge Diaz, Mauricio Casillas, Jared Richardson, Dylan Richardson, and Charles Ray Holt, III.
Manuel Diaz will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
