Kenneth Ray Tubbs, 73, Tuckerman departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born October 26, 1950, in Stuttgart to George and Judy (Bice) Tubbs.
In the tapestry of his life, he found joy in the simplicity of outdoor pursuits, relishing moments spent fishing, trapping, and working on vehicles. Nature, with its rivers and woods, provided a sanctuary where he discovered peace and purpose. He reflected a life grounded in practical skills and an appreciation for nature.
Amidst the quiet of watching westerns, he found entertainment and relaxation. The allure of the Old West captivated his imagination.
Yet, amidst these solitary pursuits, his heart found its greatest joy in the embrace of family. Fifty years of marriage with his wife, Kathy, was a testament to enduring love and shared experiences. Together, they weathered the seasons of life, creating a legacy woven with the threads of love, dedication, and the simple pleasures that define a life well-lived. As we bid farewell, we celebrate a man whose love for nature, family, and the uncomplicated joys of life leaves a lasting mark on those who shared in his journey.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Genevive Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Tubbs, of the home; his sons, Jason Tubbs (Alison) of Tuckerman and Johnathan Tubbs (Monica) of Tuckerman; his sister, Susan Elliott (Nick) of Newport; his brother, Robbie Dale Tubbs of Texas; his grandchildren, Logan Tubbs, Becca Tubbs, Will Tubbs, and Presley Tubbs; and a host of extended family.
