Brenda Sue (Harrison) Templeton of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born November 22, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Earl “Bud” and Ida Elizabeth (Biggers) Harrison.

Following her graduation from Tuckerman High School, Miss Brenda Sue Harrison was married to Mr. Robert Templeton on August 24, 1975, and they embarked on a lifetime of devotion to one another. Together they raised two sons and welcomed four beloved grandchildren. Mrs. Templeton was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was the consummate homemaker, taking care of her family, and making sure they had supper together every night.

She was a lifelong member of the Swifton Church of Christ, where she was heavily involved in the Lady’s Devotional group, the food committee, and the Children’s Ministry.

Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Templeton of the home; two sons, Nick Templeton and wife, Chandra of Swifton, and Brian Templeton and wife, Lisa of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Caden Templeton, Chase Templeton, Kason Hager, and Katelyn Templeton; one brother, Kent Harrison of Vilonia; two sisters, Linda Thomas of Tuckerman and Dana Green and husband, Dennis, of Newark; her mother-in-law, Mary K. Smith of Swifton; her brother-in-law, David Templeton and wife, Terri of Pea Ridge; many nieces, nephews, family, and a lifetime of friends.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the funeral service day and time will be announced at a later date. Funeral services will be held at the Swifton Church of Christ, with interment following at Arnold Cemetery.

The Ladies of the Swifton Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
