
Victor Leroy Stewart, 81, of Fox, Arkansas, passed away on February 5th, 2024, peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 23rd, 1942, in Marshall, Arkansas, to William Woodrow and Lavivian Savanna (Treat) Stewart.
Leroy was a Christian and of the Church of Christ faith. He enjoyed fishing, spending time on the river, hunting, gardening, having fish fries, and spending time with his beloved family. Leroy will always be remembered for the outgoing person he was. He spent a lot of time helping others, and he always wanted to be a good friend. Leroy was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children, Wayne (Paula) Stewart of Fox, Arkansas, Vickie Jorgenson of Fox, Arkansas, Darlene (Scott) Hopper of Mountain View, Arkansas, Daphne (Kevin) Goodwin of Fox, Arkansas, and Nichole Dutton of Melbourne, Arkansas; two siblings, Rudy (Liz) Stewart of Fox, Arkansas and Mary Gearhart of Fox, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, Shawna, Tyler, Samuel, Jessica, Christina, Savannah, Kara, Kaid, Sahara, Carter, Emerey, and Lilah; seven great-grandchildren, Haiden, Zaine, Viking, K.J., Peyton, Zoey, and Kingston. Leroy is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lavivian Stewart; one grandson, Cody Stewart.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm. Brother Junior Barham will officiate the service.
Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Stewart, Rudy Stewart, Dean Amos, Tyler Jorgenson, Samuel Hopper, Kevin Goodwin, Scott Hopper, Haiden Runyon, Jim Treat, Lecil Treat, and Billy Clay Branscum.
