The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB), Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and White River Planning and Development District have collaborated to present a Regional Workforce Summit to take place at UACCB’s Independence Hall on March 7, 2024.

The summit will feature discussions on Arkansas’s workforce’s current and future state, emphasizing the north central region.

Mike Rogers, the Chief Workforce Officer for the State of Arkansas, will open the summit with a keynote presentation followed by panel discussions and interactions throughout the remainder of the day.

There is no cost to attend, and the summit is open to individuals from all industry sectors. Attendees will be able to engage with experts, participate in discussions, and network with peers.

“We believe that collaboration is key to addressing the challenges and opportunities in our region’s workforce. The summit is free to attend, and we encourage professionals, educators, and public servants to join us in this collective effort to shape the future of our workforce,” said UACCB Chancellor Dr. Brian Shonk.
