It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bill Robertson, who departed this world on March 16. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bill Robertson, born on August 3, 1942, in Oil Trough, Arkansas, to Bernard Guy and Carrie Robertson, attended Oil Trough School and pursued a career as a mechanic. With a passion for cars, he found peace watching his horses graze in the pasture. Bill was known for his storytelling, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He cherished moments spent under shade trees, engaging in lively conversations with friends and family. His ability to connect and uplift others left a lasting impact on many lives. Bill’s memory will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his spouse Jean Arehart of Newport, son Lonnie Robertson (Christy) of Valley View, son B.J. Robertson (Vanessa) of Oil Trough and daughter Jessica Pretty of Oil Trough and his grandchildren Caitlin Corson, Korbin Foster, Carson Robertson, Issac Robertson, and Ella Robertson, his great-grandchild, Azlynn Tomah, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
