Ann Trantham, 74, of Batesville passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in Batesville. She was born June 24, 1949, in Manila, Arkansas to Harry Downing and Fay Sartain-Downing. She was a legal secretary for the State of Arkansas for over 28 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Ann enjoyed playing Sudoku as well as playing with her cats, working on crossword puzzles as well as connecting with friends and family on social media.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ed Trantham.
Survivors include two sons, David Trantham and Jason Trantham both of Batesville and two brothers, Harry Downing of Nacogdoches, Texas and Michael Downing of Magness. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service chapel.
