Barbara Keen, 88, of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born on July 7, 1935, in Tallahassee, Florida, to Fred Smothers and Annalee Mills Smothers.
Barbara worked as an operator for Bell South Telephone. She enjoyed shopping and she and her late husband were known for their ability to be considered a marksman in skilled shooting.
She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Oakland, Tennessee.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Carrie Post, of North Charleston, South Carolina, and Patricia Kifier, of Batesville; her brother, Jim Smothers, of Oakland, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby Keen, and brother, Charles Smothers.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church in Oakland, Tennessee.
