Leslie “Clayton” Loggains 59, of Newport, passed from this life on April 27, 2024. He was born in Newport, Ar. on March 11, 1965, to Phillip Ross and Patsy Ann (Jackson) Loggains.

Leslie’s expertise in woodworking elevated him to the status of an exceptional cabinetmaker, showcasing his talent and dedication to his craft. Additionally, his skill in assembling model cars and proficiency in mechanical work highlighted his diverse interests and abilities. As he entered his later years, Leslie developed a keen interest in coin collecting, further enriching his life with a new passion. Above all, he was cherished as a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many, leaving behind fond memories and a lasting legacy of craftsmanship, curiosity, and camaraderie that will be treasured by all who knew him.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Gail (Poole) Loggains; son, Jaeden Moreland of Cave City; daughter, Aubree Loggains of McCrory; brother, Kevin Loggains of Newport; nieces and nephews, Cassidy Lancaster (Ross Hodo), Devan Loggains (Alicia), Candice Pierce (Issac), Kevan Mackenzie, Brianna Loggains, and a lifetime of friends.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
